About Me

Hello! My name is Bailey VanHoy.

From a very young age I have always been fascinated with art and expressing my creativity. As a child I was constantly drawing, painting, making things out of clay/playdough, etc. I excelled in art classes all throughout my time in public school and found another creative outlet in culinary classes while in high school. Cooking became a fun hobby while I followed my love of art to college.

I spent a few years acquiring a AAS in Simulation and Game Design from Wilkes Community College in 2015. Wanting to specialize even more with art, design and advertising I went back to school in 2019 to get my AAS in Advertising and Graphic Design from Wilkes Community College. I’ve had two years of experience in this field and have acquired several certifications and awards along with my degree.

I placed first place at the state level and then at the nation level at the annual SkillsUSA Competition in June of 2021, that was a huge honor. I have three years of experience in the Adobe Suite Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Dimension, Adobe XD, and Adobe Dreamweaver. I am also certified in the Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, and Power Point.

I have worked as a freelance designer for the past year for several different clients providing graphics for their needs.
